I know this has been talked about before, but having listened to the RB interview and heard mention of a new manager Jennifer, it again reminded me of how many J's there are in the great mans life. Anne Judge was one of his teachers in St Marys, the seconday school Morrissey went to. "Severed Alliance" has a lot of info about the teachers and schoolfriends from St Marys.

Which reminds me of another, very important "J" person I've forgot to mention: "Jet" Morgan, the headmaster of St Marys! 'Sir leads the troops, jealous of youth, same old suit since 1962'.

Anne Judge was a maths teachers by vocation who found herself teaching English, ans who also regarded as 'sex symbol' of the school (it was an all-male school). Morrissey supposedly 'regarded her with reserved favour, and his appreciation increased after she commanded one of his poems'. He also got on with another female teacher, Aileen Power (should we do As? )
