More info will follow, so please stay tuned. We really can't wait to play for you all!

1hr of the gig.

Without Music The World Dies on its own from the above:

Excellent version of WMTWD , it's a bit odd to me , but I like it more then "Morrissey version "

Alain's voice is fine live. It's a little quiet. He struggles to hit the low notes, but he does hit them. He's got a fabulous rockabilly wail.

I’d go see them the U.K. Tomorrow is one of my most fave songs! I’d go just for that. I’ll likely never get to see Moz play it…Same old tired list of Smith’s songs and a few off whatever album he’s trying to plug. He has an amazing back catalogue of music, but plays all the same stuff.

Really really fascinating, how Alain and the others transform the polished late seventies US pop of the Morrissey 2023 WMTWD live version into an elegant, double bass pumping and ground-stomping rockabilly. Alain also sings it brilliantly. Do you like Alain or Moz, it's confusing these days.

Glamorous Glue , Playboys , Sing Your Life
Hold on to Your Friends !!!

Great band spirit , fantastic arrangements , passionate musicians and yes, Gary is the best bass player who has ever played with Moz ( dispite Andy of course ) . That's all I can see and hear on videos on this thread . Period .

It’s strange & cool, seeing Spencer behind the drums again.

I can have both versions.

But adding the double bass was definitely a brilliant idea, and Gary plays it well.
Comparing the 2 versions, it also strikes me that Alain’s voice can reach the higher tones more easily than Morrissey’s. It works to his advantage on certain songs.

Ask was another instance where his voice served the song well (in my opinion) and where the band played very well.

So video above contains following Morrissey/ Smiths songs
Let the Right One Slip In
Certain People I Know
We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful
Without Music the World Dies
Sing Your Life
Tomorrow
Ask
Southpaw

the rest are Alain's solo works
Full setlist but video on Alains IG starts from Let the Right One Slip In

Off _line version ( mp4 video )
