Post Whatever You Are Thinking At This Very Moment

I don't want to be dramatic but I think I'm doomed. DOOMED!

We are going out for cocktails first though so I may be okay... Maybe I'll offer to do 'interpretive' dance while everyone else sings :squiffy:

Haha, I understand how you feel. I would never sing in front of other people, I just would never ever do it under any circumstances.

I need to learn how to sing Karaoke in 3 weeks for my friends hen-do.

Can't sing out loud at all - tried while I was alone and was still embarrassed. I need confidence, but I fear I will have to rely on vodka.

Gaaaaaaah!

After a few vodkas, you'll be the best singer they've ever had...and dancer...and best looking...

I have three of my own and I stayed at home until they were old enough to go to school...but I always thought it would take a lot more patience to be a nanny.

I agree, but I never fully appreciated it until this summer. :thumb:

It's actually easier when it's someone else kids because you don't have the same emotional tie to them as you have for your own children. It doesn't have an emotional effect on me. She can cry how much she wants, if I have said no it means no. And they know it, they know that it's no idea trying to manipulate me in the same way that they do with their parents. Today she cried because she was really exhausted and couldn't express it, so I actually felt sorry for her but there are still limits and when you break them it's time for the naughty step. You are generally more rational when it comes to someone elses children. The problem is more that it gets a bit boring sometimes. Once you've passed the age of 10 there is some sort of limit to how many hours you can play with playdough without wanting to kill yourself. :p

Really? What's so special about the fun factory playdough?

I'll let the images speak for themselves.

I'm going to sing an Aerosmith song and dedicated it to you:

'This one's for Billy Scissors' Thank you.....and goodnight!

Aww thats so sweet of you,I'm filling up.

By the way,HSIN came on the radio today at work.I asked him "Who's this?" He said "I dont know, but I think I should " I said "Its The Smiths"

I used to work in a bookstore. I remember distinctly one time a conversation I had with a woman who worked there named Suzannah who was extremely colorful. (Read:weird) We were in the backroom on break and she was telling me about going to see Todd Rundgren and I asked her who Todd Rundgren was. She was astonished. I had never heard so much astonishment in my life, like I had just blown her mind. I asked her to hum a tune and she sang "Hello It's Me" and I said, "Oh yeah, I know what you mean. Classic rock." She still couldn;t believe his name wasn't a household name. Then most likely she farted outloud and left. She was very liberal about farting and burping in public, it was her body's right to fart. :p ANyway, I've been in your Aerosmith guy's shoes before. :D

I made the classic mistake of thinking 'Jethro Tull' was a person and not a band :blushing:

Ian Anderson is from my home town too and the guy I was talking to knew him. Doh!

I only really know who Todd Rundgren is beacuse he's Liv Tyler's step-dad.
