Exactly. As I said above, there is literally nothing there. As much as a 'will this do?' as much of the later output.

I thought, by contrast, that the idea was really fun - this kind of fun, Get off the Stage style scenario. I love that vocal melody on the title line too.

I think as late career renaissances go, the post-America YATQ, the Roman Ringleaders and the buoyant, jagged YOR were all quite good. Admittedly, I had a real issue with WPINOYB - I thought it was arrogant and rude; lazy lyrically and really annoyingly produced. But I feel like this record is going to swing it a little closer to YOR - it won't be my favourite, but all things considered, idm too much. It is what it is, essentially. All I can do is adapt my feelings.

If I like a song,, I'll say I do. If I don't, I'm not going to blow sunshine up anyone to make friends. I thought it worked live but needed tightening up a fair amount. But this version is just neutered.

maybe just maybe. is it because you are negative about absolutely everything morrissey says or does musically. There is loads of bands i used to like, but i don't sit on their forum pouncing at every given opportunity. just a thought.
