Big Mouth Strikes AGAIN! Morrissey is filmed from his BA business class seat demanding to be 'let off' the plane that was grounded due to stormy weather

Excerpt:
Severe thunderstorms meant his flight from London Heathrow to the Irish capital was diverted to Shannon on the west coast of Ireland where it sat on the tarmac for almost two hours until the weather improved.

But once on the tarmac, witnesses said Morrissey demanded to speak to the captain and asked to be 'let off' the Airbus A320 as he didn't 'want to be hanging around in [a] coffin' for hours.

Video passed to MailOnline shows him standing at the front of the plane, in a blue suit, talking to a cabin crew member who is heard telling him: 'We have to put the paperwork in the computer, close the door and then off we go'.

When the pilot asks stg like "please don't take it out on our lovely crew" it seems reason finally has access to Morrissey's zombrain as he listens and stops acting like a Bethlem Baby for about 5 seconds... But it does seem to take an eternity for him to get there and realize he's just a human being on a plane with other human beings all facing the same problem.
I imagine anyone accompanying him becomes a teenage slum mum dealing with a kid having a tantrum in a supermarket. I guess for some, the perks are worth the embarrassment...

Anyone having an experience with customer service here is going to have flashbacks of all the a*holes they've had to deal with.
Bonus point for stressing other passengers out as well. I would have told him to stfu but people were probably, er, star-struck ...or too tired.

Only he had some energy left ( well he gets plenty of rest).
And seriously, what's with the clapping, you old clapper? Were you a flamenco dancer in a past life? And was your stage name Perdita Tequila? Oh, ok then.

My advice would be to give up flying entirely. It's obvious that your generous contribution to climate change is going to catch up with you someday and the air might refuse to support you any longer too.

Well he does still look a bit younger than the original, and is a better musician, so...if we're talking value for money ...

So Alain has left? Looks like even whyte lightning won't touch the old crate.

But hey, Jesse is such a great hostess I would feel like clapping if I remotely cared for that particular "krew".

Also, as a frequent liar you shouldn't be surprised by rough weather.(Are you?)
This is not about teenage rebedia. It's just fear of death... It amazes me how here some who are "specialists" in Morrissey do not know the negative thoughts that usually invade their mind. He thinks too much about the death of him and everyone... And if he was drunk, it reinforces the idea of panic. No more analysis. I love that from time to time he does these kilombos

Wait- I forgot, it's an old family tradition, which started in the 18th century, when Wilbur Morrissey demanded to be "let off" a hot air balloon, because "they" had "missed his stop" and he had to" immediately" buy some leeks.

"They" ( it was just him and another guy, really) refused.
He started dancing wildly in protest (-this being the true origin of the famous "Morris dancing", by the way-)...

The flight ended prematurely in the Irish Sea, nobody knows quite how.

Not for Damon, by the looks of it, or whatever his downtrodden bag-carrier's name is. Who IS that guy?? I can't imagine humiliating myself in public the way he does, for any amount of money. A human luggage cart.
Why do you think his job is humiliating? I don't want to know what you think of waiters or people who clean for a living...

Yet haters (somehow) remain...

People are the Enemy - Episode 280.
On this episode, Andy reads a story about Morrissey causing a scene on a plane.

I'm disturbed by the fact that you equate waiters and people who clean for a living with a millionaire pop star's bag carrier. Shows how much little respect you have for those you purport to champion.

The video footage was very disappointing, in my opinion. I was ready to watch, well, something more than that! I wouldn't have paid a dime for that video. It shows almost nothing. I was expecting to see more. What a let down. I got excited for nothing.
You may prefer this alternative clip - it may help provide some much needed perspective:

My plane was taxing for takeoff to Denver when the news hit that he was canceling. I didn't ask to get off the flying coffin, although I was tempted.

Im still hyped that the gigs are still going on. I was a bit pissed by the whole Alain thing, as I thought that unit was fire but after 24 hours, I was just happy M is still out there and I'm going to a few UK gigs. The M fan base gets a bad press, largely from suck ups and haters on this site but when you get out to his gigs, the people are awesome. The Moz Army folks were brilliant this year Nice to see some of the stateside fans back on my home ground.
I think its wrong to take everything out on Jesse as well, its M's business who he wants around, not ours. If I was M, Im not sure I would be too happy with AW, hes gone from being in the band to trying to almost be a M copycat, he tries to sing like him, write songs like him, do poses like him, uses age old M lore reference points. Does covers of Smiths songs, as if he wrote them. Its a bit over kill- hes obviously been trying to carve out some off M's fan base for himself. I'm not attacking, AW, bitch gotta get paid and shit. Im saying who knows what is going on.
Well, why can't Alain like James Dean as well? Lots of people do, there is a whole museum dedicated to him after all. Plus fandom is quite contagious, if you're close to someone and this person is a big fan of something, chances are you're gonna end up a fan as well.

You make zero sense.

I suspect that's a familiar for you. Making zero sense to someone who equates a millionaire pop star's bag carrier with cleaners and waiters is only to be expected. You're implying the jobs have equivalent skill levels. Which only exemplifies your own arrogance and ignorance.

Probably worthy of note:
In the 3 days since the Mail article, not one of the regular/music media's 'usual suspects' has picked up the story and there appears to be no other reference to it currently online.
Possibly a first.
FWD.

Seriously, I don't know what you're on about. What do you think makes a job as a PA "humiliating" compared to those other jobs? Is your problem simply that Moz is a millionaire pop star? Is that what bothers you?

Yes it is interesting. Is Morrissey now so ‘canceled’ that they won’t even touch what could be considered ‘negative news’ about him? You would think they would be all over it.

Anyway, maybe a blessing in disguise.

I think nobody has picked up on it because it's just such a non-story.

"Rock star throws hissy fit on plane."
