Worst Moz song

Roll up! Roll up! Cast your votes! What's the worst song that Morrissey has released so far? Who knows what terrors lurk in the cupboard at EMI... but until the boxset comes out, we'll stick to the officially released material. If we get a list of popular contenders, maybe David T will open an offical poll on the main page. It may have been done before, but we can always do it again.

Anyway, to get the (bottom of the) barrel rolling, my vote goes for the "Kill Uncle" era b-side "JOURNALISTS WHO LIE". Oh dear, Stephen Patrick! What WERE you thinking??

-Disappointed
-Speedway
-The Loop

Speedway?????? Are you nuts? Disappointed?? C'mon, this is a poll of Morrissey's WORST songs, not BEST!!!

Anyhow, here are my votes for worst Moz songs:
-Driving Your Girlfriend Home (or nearly any other Kill Uncle track....)
-Papa Jack
-Sorrow Will Come in The End (does this rubbish even count as a song?)
-Whatever Happens, I Love You
-This is Not My Country
-Black Eyed Susan

Although not one of his "worst," I tend to agree with Matt Houston that Suedehead is OVERRATED at best.

2. Boz has big ass teeth (a r-side off of Germany and the Germans)

4. Pocket Calculator (a b-side of Bistrafe Mich part3)

5. Sing your life (Kill Uncle version) because you all know the K-Rock version is better than hamster nipples..it's true it's true.

A good point well made. Only the production "spoils" Uncle in parts. But I listened to it yesterday and it tickled me enormously - in many different places... which was nice...

No we won't. While I'll wholeheartedly second your disapproval of the embarrassingly lame rockabilly rip-off known as The Loop and at least understand why Disappointed will never make it to any "Best of Moz" lists, Speedway remains one of the most beautiful songs in the world of Moz. Or indeed any other world, although I at times find it difficult to believe in such a thing.

Anyone in search for truly crap Morrissey songs should get Kill Uncle and Southpaw Grammar and ignore a few of the tracks.
