I've never seen it before. The auction states it's an LP. How can that possibly be? It has the new songs on it. I'm confused. (as usual)

Tara,

It's a bootleg that someone had pressed in LP format. Some bootleggers still do that, but it is rare.

i actually have this bootleg and its nothing worth getting all rattled over for. it is a bit strange/rare for someone to go through the trouble of putting all these tracks on vinyl, especially with the cd burning of today. all the tracks on the record have been circulated via the net many, many times.
apparently the same seller has been selling these records solely on ebay for the past month and a half. i've haven't seen anybody else sell it besides the morrisseymadness site, which coincidentally purchased it from the exact same seller on ebay and now is selling it for an obscene price, like every other item on that website.

Thank you for the info guys. If it was an older LP I wouldn't have questioned it but the fact that the new songs were on it had me a bit puzzled. I don't remember reading that the songs were "live" either. How did you get your copy 'X'? Was it from this seller or did you find it elsewhere? I'm not interested in buying it, I'm just curious if it's circulating or not.

Re: What is "Don't Forget"?

If I am not mistaken, Morrissey says "Don't forget Oscar Wilde, Don't forget Jesus, Don't forget Dusty Springfield" etc... before going to into the encore of There is a Light that never goes out... I think it was the Malmo concert...

my guess...

since the songs on the lp are the new ones presented on the latest tour, "don't forget" might be a live version of hand in glove...

why did they bother going to the trouble? still, vinyl is far better to own than CDs, and its quite nicely packaged.I wonder how much vinyl burning equipment costs? Probably thousands of pounds that I don't have....

It's vinyl cutting equipment rather than burning equipment - but, yes, it's still pretty expensive. There's the self-contained turntable type, like the Vestax VRX vinyl cutter (dubplate cutter ) http://www.vestax.co.uk/vrx2000/info.htm - £6,500+ last time I looked

Mix Machines were supposed to be bringing out a slightly cheaper alternative - the Kingston Dubplate Cutter - that connects to a conventional turntable like the Technics SL 1200. There's some information here http://www.marwax.com/data/articles/20010420_cuttingmachines_kingston.html - but I don't think it ever appeared.
