The best album to introduce a non-fan to

I use reverse psychology by actually refusing to play Morrissey for them because they aren't cool enough to listen to him. It seems to work. But then again, my friends tend to be anti-social and oppositional/defiant...

You cant go wrong with Quarry...;)

The songtitles alone on all of his CDs seem to set off a spark of curiousity...

ALTHOUGH..starting someone off on a visual note such as "Who Put the 'M' in Manchester?' DVD, is also fantastic! :D

I would definitely start with Bona Drag, for obvious reasons. It seems reasonably important to expose new people gradually if they didn't stumble upon him on their own. If they enjoy BD, then I'd try Vauxhall and I and Your Arsenal followed by the rest of them.

Hi everybody!

I feel I can say that the album to discover Morrissey is Viva Hate.
I would say it is the best way to begin with maybe because I did that...But there are a lot of ways to do, why not Hatfull of hollow

Hugs:)

I started myself and feel in love with THE QUEEN IS DEAD, so why not this one? Bona Drag and Hatful Of Hollow seem like good choices too.
