Anyone ever heard of this cat? I have a cd single that someone gave me, and it has a rather cool version of: TBWTTIHS. Now, make no mistake, I'm not really a fan of unknown bands/singers doing "covers" of other bands/singers, especially as great as Morrissey/the Smiths, but this isn't half bad. I suggest a listen, as the dude pulls it off quite nicely.

Radio 2 have just played this. It's one of the better cover versions. Still not as good as Jeff Buckley, but not bad at all.

It's a really beautiful cover. Matthews makes it haunting and ethereal, which suits the song very well.
