Althought the term hipster has been somewhat hijacked and melted down into something else in this modern world I would like others here to post pictures of hipsters. For me the original hipster is of course none other than swedish film director Ingmar Bergman and who can deny that looking at this picture:

It's a catch-all term for a generalized (by older, out of the loop, suburb dwelling fuddieduddies) non-mainstream, peripherally artistic, but not particularly politically motivated 20something urban culture that has existed in one form or another since the late 40s.

It means next to nothing, and its elasticity is worsened daily.
