As far as I remember he does sing "England for the English" on Beethoven Was Deaf... it's actually more audible there than on the original version. This is how it sounds on the current tour:

On the Newcastle bootleg he sings 'England for the English' and 'National' but misses out the 'Front disco' part. I can't remember if he did this at Birmingham too.

Leaving off "Front" takes the song out of the seventies and brings it up to date I suppose.
