Who likes them, i think they are good

First album was fantastic; as were a couple of b-sides on the singles (fly to me, and walnut tree).
Second album was feeble and meandering.
Third album was slight improvement on second but his voice seems to have got a lot worse.
Sounds like he's trying to sing like Thhhhom from Radiohead- believe me, not a good thing!

A great band. They sing and play melancholy songs that are full of passion and great melodies. Their first two albums contain some excellently crafted pop songs, and some profoundly sad ones. Not listened to the third album enough, but I like the changes. I've seen them live three times, one of them was just a stunning gig. So, yes, I really like them.
