I hope he has never done private shows!

I hope Morrissey has never performed for private shows- you know, asking a lot of money to sing a few songs for a rich businessman s' birthday, or at a party wedding. (Like so many "artists" do currently)
Tell me he has never done that and will never do. I would be horrified if he did. But I would be surprised if the answer was yes.
I think those private shows are shocking. What is your opinion?
