This reminds me of the Apes they had at Franklin Park zoo,just outside of Boston.They were enclosed in glass, because if patrons or anyone else in the zoo were to stop and stare at them, the apes would toss their feces at them.so you would often see smudges of ape poop on the glass as you walked along.Lovely.

Hehe that reminds me of a story my mum told me once about her going to the London Zoo in the late 70's and having one of the Orangutans give her the finger .
