I was listening to Come Back To Camden recently when it came to my mind that it might sound great if Robbie Williams would cover it. Or Ewan McGregor. Or Robbie Williams AND Ewan McGregor. Damn, whenever I try to choose between Robbie and Ewan I end up choosing both at the same time.
I want to hear a punked up version of This Is Not Your Country. Doesn't matter who does it.
Failing that... I can imagine Antony & The Johnsons doing wonderful versions of many of the songs off of Viva Hate, such as Late Night, Maudlin Street or Angel, Angel, Down We Go Together.

Absolutely! Antony could sing practically any Smiths/Morrissey song and it would be intensely beautiful.
I have a strange yearning to hear Rufus Wainwright cover Frankly Mr Shankly, and I really have no idea why - except that to hear Rufus drawl out the line "you are a flatulent pain in the arse" in his own inimitable fashion might well be one of the funniest things ever. I'm easily amused.
