Some Totally Random Moz Fan

Guest
I have no idea if this is fact or not but last night at the L.A. Depeche Mode Convention I was told that when Dean Butterworth very recently left the band during the recording sessions in England (not Dublin or L.A.) that the album was half-done but that it is now on hold indefinitely until they find a replacement drummer- so the planned Spring release and tour are not happening as planned...

The source was a fellow die-hard Moz fan who apparently has a friend who met and talked to Morrissey himself in England very recently.

So we'll see...

I thought I'd heard that he (Deano) was supposed to have been touring with Donavon (sic) Frankenreiter's band for the last month or so, supporting the DMB ?

Hey, Some Totally Random Moz Fan!!!

How was the L.A. Depeche Mode Convention?

Do they have them every year?

Hey Dave

> How was the L.A. Depeche Mode Convention?
- It was fun! But we got there late after they had all the contests and stuff...

> Do they have them every year?
- yes they do- I have been to every one- always a blast:

yes, and hasn't another rumor been floating around that spike was recording the album????

No Spike

Apparently Spike Smith never came back after being sacked after the '99 tour. I was told that Dean-O left right in the middle of the recording sessions. I guess we'll all know who is drumming when the album is released.

I wonder what the odds are on Mike Joyce stepping in?

Dean Butterworth left Depeche Mode? THis is terrible!!!

the drummer beat goes on.

Morrissey, Boz and Alain can cope with that and much more besides.

Is Morrissey a Wings, Devs, or Avs fan?

I know Morrissey hates the Rangers.

Re: Un-Offiicial Rumor - almost entirely rubbish

Dean has not played on any recording for the album, and the album is nowhere near half recorded, as recording has only just commenced.

Spike IS drumming on the new album.

The only thing you have right is that recording is taking place in England

I thought Deano was pretty poor. Shame about the dealy. Let's hope we get someone in to rock the kit with Bonham-esque passion.

Jay can you get a confirmation of this story from BOZ?

Re: Is Morrissey a Wings, Devs, or Avs fan?

Well he likes Devils...but only handsome devils.
He likes the leafs...because 36 years of futility can be depressing and the whole foliage thing.
He likes the blue jackets...only if they are imitation leather and peta approved
He likes the blues...but hates when they win and are happy
He hates the Senators....and all government officials for that matter.
Normally he would hate the Capitals too...but they have Jags...and he loves cars.
He loves the flames...umm..no comment
He hates the Kings and anyone of royalty....although there is some question as to whether he might be related

We were watching a game last night and every time someone gets sent off for slashing on the ice...he giggles his ass off. Still don't know what that is about.

Re: Is Morrissey a Wings, Devs, or Avs fan?

He also likes the wings because he still cant for the life of him figure out what exactly a 'red wing" is,well here mozzer let me explain it to you in simplest terms: the best fookin hockey team in the f***in world. The end all,be all of hockey...there's the wings...& then there's everyone else.

So when you see Morrissey today at lunch how are you going to explain the SC Champion banner being raised in NJ tomorrow night? Proper look for me tomorrow night on foxsportsnet. This is what I will be wearing only the real thing. If you can make it out for the home-opener I will be in A-23 before the game for the festivities(and free beer)

HA! I see that K'Mart label.
Hey, if you're lucky there will be another strike shortened season and the Devils can *win* another Stanley Cup*

Re: Is Morrissey a Wings, Devs, or Avs fan?

I dont care abou the banner...since we have 10 and you have 3....besides,we won ours in a shorter amount of time, and back to back....The PIMP of the universe understands your loyalty to the she devils(hahaha),he's just not conviced they're better than the WINGS. He wears a steveie franchise jersey,I saw him sporting one at amoeba one time. he had yoshinoya in his hand too and told me" you're the PIMp of the nation right??" to which i shot back" of course, but you're the PIMP of the world..no one can top that sir moz". he shot back with "I know,I do rule the world dont I??" to which i was forced to say"not only do you rule the world, but,it's your world and we just live in it"... then sir moz shot back with"you know, you're right.BTW,I love the yoshinoya,it's the soup of champions you know"...... then i said" too true sir moz...too true!!!!"
