SOMETIMES I FEEL THE NEED TO GO AGAINST THE CURRENCIE.THIS QUESTION IS AN
EXAMPLE OF IT. TO PLAY THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE. WHEN SOMEONE IS A MORRISSEY-
HATER WHAT SONG SHOULD HE USE TO UNDERLINE HIS VISION : MORRISSEY IS CRAP!
TO ME IT IS AGAINST MY NATURE TO PICK THE WORST SONG. BUT, THE FIRST 2 MINUTES
AND 30 SECONDS OF "THE OPERATION" ON SOUTHPAW GRAMMAR IS NERVE-BREAKING TO ME.WAITING FOR THE VOCALS .BUT TIME AFTER TIME THIS DREADFUL INTRO GOES ON
AND ON.WHAT A WASTE OF A VERY FINE SONG. IN LATER EDITIONS OF SOUTHPAW IT
SHOULD BE BANNED OF THE ALBUM.DO YOU HAVE SIMULAR FEELINGS TO THIS SONG
OR OTHERS.PLEASE LET ME KNOW.GREETINGS FROM HOLLAND.

I really don't like November Spawned a monster....

basically I think it's shite

Smiths: i'd have to vote for "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now", because it can be easily turned into evidence for the Moz-miserablism argument.

Solo: "Now I Am A Was". enough said.

There is no such thing as a worst morrissey song. every song he sings rules da fuggin game. you call yourself a fan??? try listening to black eyed susan, nobody loves us(which fits you to a tee jackoff),and other great songs. Ding dongs like you piss me the hell off.

I agree with Proper, there is no worst song.
All you jack dicks who think that can suck the sperm out of a dead mans arse..

That is one of the best drum solos EVER recorded!

I beg to differ.

THE WORST MORRISSEY SONG: Sorrow will come to You in the End

Yeah, my least favourite Moz song is song 'Sorrow Will Come to You to the End', from Maladjusted, where Moz is badmouthing drummer Mike Joyce without any style or class. If only Moz would be able to keep his ugly (on both sides) lawsuit with Joyce out of his portfolio of work... I don't care, who is "on right side", Moz or Joyce, 'cause Joyce is irreplaceable member of Smiths, period, and Moz should knew better then tarnish Smiths legace in this song... Overall, I liked Maladjusted a lot...

( Fans of your nature have no musical inclination to anything else. You're stuck on Moz because he is the only good selection of music you will ever be fortunate enough to choose, or find. You're frightened to leave the circle, in fear that you just may begin listening to Archie Bunker's greatest hits )

God! It's a wonder even bothers with such stupid fans like you

Morrissey can do ANYTHING he wants with the "legacy" of The Smiths because he is part of it you f***ing clown!

I f***ing hate f***ups that have the nerve to even think what the f*** Morrissey could do or not do. yet it's his f***ing work. You are the type of f*** that bothers stuff like Lucas and his Star Wars shit...

Did you create it? No
Did you work on it? No
DId you play on it? No

Then shut the f*** up and do what all of us do, BUY it and criticize it but don't you ever think you can scold a creator of his own work and wag a finger about destroying one's "legace..." you simple minded f***face f***er!

We spend our $$$s, therefore we have a right to critisize... Now son, take your Ritaline and shut up

Re: THE WORST MORRISSEY SONG: Sorrow will come to You in the End

From a pure music stand point morrissey has done worse

with that being said, this was the worst song on the Maladjusted CD
it's petty and childish, these are the actions of a rotten brat who got some of his toys taken away from him.

as for the issue, yes it sucks that Mike and Andy only got 5%, but then again the contributed very little creatively, and they should have read what they signed.

Johnny tries to blame all the contracts on Morrissey, which I tend to believe
but Johnny should kinda keep to himself on that one...

What about the 5th smith, craig what's his name, that was on the Queen as Dead tour, whatever happened to him?

you would, when I made a MP3 cd loaded with every smiths and morrissey song
I cut drum solo off the song, it really sucks!

Poor buddy Craig Gannon

Yo, LWF... According to Johnny Rogan book... Remember, Rourke had heroine addiction, so he was kind of suspended and forced to rehab, so Craig Gannon was hired to temporary replace Rourke... After OIS tour was over, Craig was sure he is permanent Smiths, so naturally he hated Mozz & Marr decision to re-hire semi-cured Rourke on his place...

Oh I have to disagree with you about 'Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now', if I was gagged and bound up to my seat and told not to keep it all in, I would say this is my second favourite Smiths song after 'There Is A light That Never Goes Out'. The absolute bluntness of the song has always struck a chord, "2 lovers entwined pass me by/and heaven knows I'm miserable now" "I was looking for a job and then I found a job" "Why do I give valuable time to people who don't care if I live or die", how many times have I been there I have to ask myself.

Also I think November Spawned A Monster is a very ambitious song, but a wonderful one at that, although other Morrissey fans I know seem to be split on just how good this song is.

Eh? is that right? It's been ages since I took Smiths 101, but I thought Craig was a 2nd guitarist they brought along for touring purposes, to help Johnny recreate all of the guitars he played on the album. He wasn't brought in as a replacement bassist.

By the way, do you think Rourke still has that dismissal note Morrissey put on his windscreen? That'd be a fun bit of memorbilia to get ahold of....

The only one?? Are you sure??

Golden Lights??????????????

Re: Poor buddy Craig Gannon

DUDE, where were you?
that is complete BS, Craig was on guitars, and all five were on stage for the queen is dead tour...

I was just wondering what was going on with him now,
you didn't even have a clue what he was doing then...

you new guys are all alike...
