Why did he leave the tour all of a sudden

there are some obvious answers:

1)Poor treatment from Bowie (treating him like a support act)
2)Playing to half empty venues.

but was there more to it than that?

Wasn't there a report that he got sick - didn't he get taken to hospital? - can anyone remember?

But to get back to the point i read somewhere that Morrissey was hospitalised in Scotland and after a week he was playing gigs in Japan
