hey gang
so, back in, like, early May, i spent $240 on 2 pit tickets for Madison Square Garden. as we all know, that gig never happened. i bought the tickets from an eBay seller named Rumseyisland. he sells a lot of tickets.
when the show was canceled, i sent a polite message inquiring as to whether a partial refund might be possible. naturally, i didn't expect a refund of the shipping costs, the eBay fees, the Ticketmaster fees, the Paypal fees, or even Rumseyisland's complete profit- just some portion of the latter.
after a few very cordial exchanges, Rumseyisland refunded me his complete profit, plus a couple dollars extra even. i got about $190 back.
i just wanted to say a big public thanks to Rumseyisland. i know i wouldn't hesistate to buy tickets from him again, and now i actually have some cash to do something else this summer since i can't go see Morrissey. YAY.
