This is the 33rd time I have seen Morrissey and I must say with utter sadness that this is by far the worst show I have ever seen. I honestly feel ripped off by what I saw and heard. The set list was atrocious. My 11 year old son was with me and I felt so ashamed he had to sit through this setlist. I had hope that Morrissey's offerings would improve however I was greatly mistaken. Seriously, "Judy is a Punk" as the encore. What kind of rubbish is that? We sat for over 3/4 of the show. Truly disappointed. Truly, truly, truly.
Then why go? It's not hard to look up the set list in it's current form.

I know I'm missing one or two. Here, in no particular order are the ones I recall. Someone please kindly fill in the blanks:

Suedehead
All You Need Is Me
Speedway
Because of My Poor Education
World Peace Is None Of Your Business
Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice
Kiss Me A Lot
I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris
All The Lazy Dykes
What She Said (w/Rubber Ring outro)
The Bullfighter Dies
The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores
Meat Is Murder
I Will See You In Far Off Places
Oboe Concerto
Ganglord
Good Looking Man About Town
One Of Our Own
Jack The Ripper
All you missed were the bits in between the songs where people are pissing and moaning about the songs he played.

I been listening to all the current bootlegs that are being leak. His setlist sounds amazing to me. Maybe ppl want a greatest hits setlist with songs not made after 1987?

I ama amazed that the show last night was that horrible and boring, considering the 97 and 2000 shows he played there were completely mental and violent. Everyone must be getting older I guess?

He also did Istanbul and Judy is a Punk.

"Wanting to die" by Ann Sexton

Does any one know the poem that was iterated in the pre-show ? The only thing I remember about it is it said
"my hope die in slow will not adore my hopes lying quite will not carry your name to a abdomen shore." Please help, I'm looking everywhere ,I can't find it .

I was quite aware of the setlist. HSIN, Fatty, Sunday, Alma, Killed me, and Oujia all omitted. I do not blame the crowd one bit for being bored. How in the world can you get into a show with Oboe, Bores, Ganglord, Education, Istanbul, World Peace, Kiss me, Judy, Murder. I knew what he's playing this tour and the omission of the above songs combined with what he sang was a receipe for a bad show. Moz took the energy completely out of the crowd. Everyone around me was asking what the he'll just happened with this show. I have two tickets to the Wednesday show for sale.

Neat to see Daley havok there. He's got an album coming out soon as well. Crowd looks ok from videos posted but yeah it seems like those complaining are mostly casual fans wanting arsenal

I was so excited to see Morrissey. Boy do I feel dumb because I HATED it tonight. I wanted to hear the songs we all remember and put j on the map. Tonight I dont know what the hell that was. We actually ended up leaving because we were so over his political view narcissistic attitude. Geez thank you for disappointing fans. Why else do you think the crowd wasn't into it. The beer line had more action. I understand he has views and opinions but I wasn't paying to have his shoved down my throat. Lastly buy a watch and respect your fans by being ON TIME.
So glad I didn't waste my money for floor level

Many times he wears two you know.
So practical, our Moz. :D
One on each arm. Maybe he got the one with still Australian time on it mixed up with the one having US time.

Wait a minute, ... No than he would have been on stage in an empty venue yesterday. We've not been experiencing that, ... yet. :p

Refunds? Mwah, could be a problem.
And this site would be unattainable for some time.

I was at this show and the first thing i noticed when he came out is how healthy he looked, he looks really good, and young. It wasn't like long ago his illness' suck the life out of him.

If you went to a Morrissey gig expecting to hear a greatest hits set, then you were always going to be disappointed.

Nevah!
All his songs are his greatest hits to me. :thumb:
What a lazy bunch of fans, only wanting to hear some songs that were, are, supposed to be his greatest hits.
There is so much more to Moz.

He could leave the stage than after, let's say 20 minutes? Mind you, I don't want him to get any ideas about that. Well he doesn't read this.

Would they be satisfied than? No. they would complain about the set list being too short and shouting about a rippoff. :brows:

Then why go? It's not hard to look up the set list in it's current form.

Because of their poor educations.

What exactly is political about Suedehead, Oboe Concerto, Jack The Ripper, Good Looking Man About Town, Because Of My Poor Education, Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice, What She Said, All The Lazy Dykes, Speedway etc.? Enough to choose.

Agree 95%.
It's about the other songs, apparently. Sigh.
Moz cannot do any song with a political meaning in it.
Well, guess what, he never made that gesture with his middle finger himself, too civilised, but I can see him do it! :ha-no:

I heard that creepy fan Debra got escorted out of the show?? Does anyone know why?

Had the same as a kid.
My daddy, holding me upside down with a firm grip by my ankles, punched at my back and it got out.
Seems like "daddy" Moz had a similar experience but it didn't damage his voice.
It's better than ever!

did he skimp on a support band again and show that awful video montage? Seriously, how does he think young talent gets a start? It wouldn't hurt him to give a young band a moment in the spotlight

That video-montage is an essential part of the Moz stageshow!
It is insightful and it shows what his likes and/or dislikes are and he was the first to do that.

Geez, are you interested in him, or what?
Support bands have it hard with preceding him, getting most of the time a very critical response from his hardcore fans.

There were 1 or 2 exceptions.
In a way he is protecting those young talents.
But he still has a keen eye for them and if he thinks it can be a good thing he will do that. :tiphat:

The world boredom tour does exactly what it says on the tin ! :thumb:
In future I suggest the crowd get together and sing back to him (how about this)

" Sing us to sleep ! Sing us to sleep ! We're tired ! You've bored us, we want to go to bed " :guitar:

Oh well it's over now even if never really began

Benny-the-British-Butcher :greatbritain::knife:

" Sing us to sleep ! Sing us to sleep ! We're tired ! You've bored us, we want to go to bed "

I wouldn't mind if he did.
His heavenly voice would sooth me and I would have a real good sleep too.

Moz does not look enthused in that first video that was posted.

Can someone give more details on the crowd? Bored? Didn't know the songs? Drunk? I feel bad for all involved.

I don't feel bad for you.
Not at all. :ha-no:o

An estimated guess, I guess.
You couldn't be wrong.
Maybe Moz should do Changes by David Bowie? o_O

Could be a nice gesture to all the Bowied Moz-fans or the Mozzered Bowie-fans and he would not have to make an already too late, too little statement on TTY. :thumb:
I would like it.
