EL VEZ in San Francisco-Is it worth going?

He'll be in S.F tomorrow, what do ya know Cinco De Mayo. Would it be worth it to go? From some things I've heard, it seems like he's just joking around with his music. But of course that's just what it sounds like.

i saw him last year in San Jose,,,and i thought he was awful. if you like the gospel sound, and cheap chicano politics you mite like it.

Go for it, all of youse lucky enough to be in or near San Francisco.
El Vez ROCKS, the political/Zapatist lyrics are spot-on and he is a top geezer.
Do not miss his gig for he is the ultimate entertainer. Oh, and Smiffs fans: if you request the song "Mexican Radio" loud enough, he MIGHT do it (you never know)- it's got the "What Difference..." intro and riff and it's a KILLER.
