Come Back To Camden, because Piccadilly Palare is about Manchester me thinks?

Camden!

Piccadilly Palare is not about Piccadilly in Manchester.
It is about the rent boy pick up area around Piccadilly Circus on the edge of Soho. The song also has the lyric -'Why do you smile when you think about Earls Court' too.

Has to be Maladjusted as it has the following London places...
Fulham Road lights, Parkside (Wimbledon Common) SW6 (the postcode of the Fulham area) and also mentions Stevenage which is a new town some 30 miles of the centre of London.

Maybe I should do a 'Morrissey's London' book? ;)

The Goat

You little back scroober, you.

I concur!

I first heard 'Half A Person' when I was just beginning a miserable and short-lived stint at a London university. At first I thought he was singing "I went to London and died" and this misunderstanding really sealed the deal for me - "this man really does know me!" etc
