Morrissey lookalikes in today's Observer

There's an article in the magazine entitled "Who Do They Think They Are?", and amongst the interviewees are two Morrissey 'lookalikes', one male one female. Unfortunately the online edition doesn't have the pictures, but I can tell you that from my perspective, the bloke is a bit more of a lookalike than the woman.

A while back, there was an appeal for Morrissey lookalikes to be photographed by Kevin Cummins?

So this is the result, will maybe have to buy the paper to get a look at a female moz impersonator!

It was indeed the result of the appeal from Mr Cummins.
And the idea was not 'impersonators' - infact I stressed that I wasn't a Morrissey clone etc. Kevin was interested in people who had been told that they resembled famous people - even if they didn't think so themselves.
Its a fun little article though - and great to be photographed by the legendary Mr Cummins in my own gaff!

Excellent! I suppose it's a forlorn hope, but I hope he does an article on fans that look nothing like their idol. Err....
