I am watching the Introducing Morrissey video and I think this is his peak tour. (What do you think?)
The first show I saw was 97 in Raleigh, NC... In 02 I got tickets to Colorado Springs. Something with the green cards happened. I flew out anyway. I got drunk with some other Moz fans. 04 I saw him at The DAR in DC, I got ejected from that show for stage invasion. Jenn, (my wife now) and two of our friends drove 18 hours from SC to Tulsa OK for the first show of the 06 tour. I met Gary Day outside the Cain's Ballroom. Had a photo and he signed my shirt.
Then Jenn and I drove to Chicago Nov, 21st 06. Froze in line all day, but one of the best set list and show ever.July 10th, Knoxville TN, my buddy Danny and I went up to the show. It was reserved seating and we had pit tickets. Great show. Great time, got to give Moz a hug, and the security would just escort you to the floor. Then the House Of blues in Myrtle Beach 07/21/07. Best Moz show I have seem. I fell for the jump in line bullshit. Great show met some friends there. Drove back to Spartanburg by myself and got lost.
I remembering listening to Tears For Fears.
Then Greenville, SC... 30 minutes from my home. I got beat buy an older usher when trying to get on stage during the encore. Good show though.
and Myrtle Beach 09.. He was sick and it was showing. But he did shake my hand during "Ask" which made the whole show worth it.
