Some sort of "unauthorized biography" about morrissey on dvd is making the rounds now in some US record stores. I saw one tonight...I was tempted to buy it,it just didnt look right to me. I did see it at best buy 25.00 bucks isnt bad.

If so, save your money, it's a piece of shit.

No new info, apart from a bizarre claim, from some dipshit or other, that Johnny Marr's wife Angie pulled some kind of voodoo Yoko Ono shit on Johnny to get him to leave cos she didn't like Moz, or some such nonsense.

Basically, it's just a steady stream of the usual suspects being wheeled out to tell their story about how they knew him first & knew him well.

Whoever spent their giro/welfare check putting this shoddy piece of cash-in tripe together obviously couldn't afford to buy rights to use Smiths/Morrissey music, so it seems like they got some guy they met in a pub to play a few bars of 'Marr-esque' guitar, if you can imagine how Johnny's guitar playing would sound were he to have lost both his arms in bacon-slicer accident.

I could say more....So, was that the DVD you saw then?
