FAO Let's Go Devils

Just found out I'm going to LBI for the weekend.

I think I'm gonna blow off the assignment I'm supposed to cover Saturday morning and shoot down the Jersey coast tomorrow night after work: Windows down with shore radio blasting as the Parkway milemarkers whiz by.

I'm sure I will drink many a Corona in the sand, getting just drunk enough before it's time to go eat some raw bar crabs for dinner. And hopefully I will here about some awesome clubs that are "18 to party, 21 to drink."

I even dusted off my old "skimboard" for the occasion. I used to "rip" on that thing way before the "Bennies" caught on to the trend.

My Jersey trash summer fantasy is quickly becoming a reality!

90 degrees for highs, sunny, with the water temps around 62!!AHHHHHHH sniff sniff and I have to work this weekend!
Don't forget your ezpass and some Brrruuuuucccceeee and have a wonderful time! which beach are you going to? Hopefully not Surf City(although I heard it was a brown shark not a white)

I think my friend's house is in Harveys Cedars. I'll keep my eyes peeled for strange fins.

Don't worry, my ezpass never leaves the car. Which rest stop should I hit up on the way down though? Cheesequake? Forked River?

Hmmm, A Jon Bon Jovi spotting is possible at Cheesequake. Forked River is the cleanest but by then you are almost there. Asbury Park might be a good half way point.
There was was a cop doing radar just south of the Barnegat toll plaza.
I don't know if you left yet but the traffic on the parkway is really heavy right now, you might be better leaving later.
