Love how it’s the original studio b-side version of the song. Maybe it will inspire Moz to play the original version live on occasion.

I asked Boz why it changed so much from the studio version to the live version and he said they had like 1 day in the studio to do the b-sides and the live version was what they wished the song had been. I do wish he would sing the final verse live even with the the current arrangement of the song.

Yeah, they tried to re-record it during the Arsenal tour, but as Morrissey mentions in Autobiography (?) that he didn’t get on with studio producer Allen Toussaint.
