I'd love him to play it at the GMEX on Friday.
Anyone heard there new song...
He looked and sounded absolutely fine to me, and seemed to be enjoying it.
The crowd, where I was at least, were really up for it. Great gig. Probably the best of the three i've been to (the other two being first night of Brixton and RAH).
Despite the fact that YNWA was actually first sung by Manchester United fans after the Munich Air Disaster (which Mozza did an excellent tribute song for), it is now commonly associated with Liverpool.
For that reason, I think I would throw up were Morrissey to ever sing it.
I'm quite ambivelant towards it tbh. What I do find strange is the added lyrics at the end - cover the song if you like, but don't f*** about with the lyrics.

The film is meant to be absolutely outstanding.
There's a photo out there somewhere of Morrissey wearing a t-shirt with Eric on, and Eric has recently talked in 4-4-2 magazine of his love of The Smiths.
At first I didn't think much of it but its come to be my favourite song on 'Years of Refusal'.
This performance of it at the Birthday gig is brilliant,

I love the defiance and gesticulation where he says the line 'This might make you throw up...
Re: Message from Morrissey "We Will Resume" (facebook, myspace, TTY and official site
:) Absolutely brilliant.
Brixton (and Troxy) rescheduled for July - get in!
Re: Morrissey and the world of politics: how clued up is he? Let's have a heated deba
How does saying 'God Bless Israel' show a 'stupendous amount of insensitivity about Middle Eastern politics'? It's a legitimate, democratic, avanced, largely secular country, who if there is a...
