But also, I agree with the others above - let's not go into THAT argument; it's one of those things people have their opinions on and they can rarely be changed through argument.

He chastises her for wearing fur clothing on her body. And women who wear fur particularly annoy him. I've never heard him say anything against this person:

Well, I hope that's not what he means, but from the little information we have, he does seem to be anti-abortion. Hence, from that view-point, it would appear that he's saying that the pope should condemn...

In the severed alliance, Johnny Rogan writes about a teacher of Morrissey's who was very anti-abortion. It also mentions that he attended an anti-abortion protest in the seventies. Then there's this quote...
Reminds me of the time I subjected my Mother (who else?) to a car trip of Morrissey. She told me that he was "dreadful", sounded "like the cow that died" and that he was "a terror".

Give it a few years, and she will be one of us! *evil laugh*! Thank you for not berating my Mammy for her obvious predjudice and misunderstanding of Morrissey!

Why thank you! And do tell about your grandmother at some stage - I love hearing what parental units have to say about modern day matters - they're always correct and witty in being so.
Ever since I got into Morrissey, my Mother has been coming up with very choice statements about the man himself. The conversation I had with her today about going to see him in England took the biscuit, though. I thought I should post a collection of her finest moments:
Tonights convo...
