Yeah, Buckley rocks (rocked) and "I know it's over" is a perfect song for him to chew on...nice and over-dramatic. Wonderful!

Yes, indeed, this news makes me very pleased! I agree with Watt White, this is a perfect song for him to sing. Chills tingle down my spine already!

If you have not heard this, you are in for a treat. It will make you cry...Jeff Buckley was and will always be my favorite singer(I know all the Mozheads will flame me!) But, I was lucky enough to score this track on a Buckley bootleg a few years back...

Jeff Buckley has one of the most beautiful singing voices among male rockers and his death was very untimely. Such talent should never have ended so soon. "Grace" is one of my favorite albums and one of the best albums of the '90's. If Buckley's cover of "I Know It's Over" is as haunting as his cover of Cohen's "Hallelujah," than we're in for a treat. If Morrissey wasn't in my life than Buckley would've been the man. No one else can move me in such ways except for (Morrissey, the Smiths, the Cure, the Beatles...). I also forgot about Harriet Wheeler of the Sundays. Another one who can really touch my soul, if there was such a thing.

I've just recently discovered the ecstasy of really listening to the Smiths (god, how much I've missed!!) but I've been a fan of Jeff Buckley for years and I can't imagine anything more beautiful than his glorious voice singing a Morrissey song. Best news I've heard in a while....

I've got Jeff Buckley's cover of "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side" on mp3. The quality is rather poor, but still a lovely version. If somebody wants it, just send me a message

Jeff Buckley was a talented vocalist/musician who died in a drowning accident almost three years ago.His voice is something unique. If you have never heard his voice go out and buy "Grace". His version of "Hallelujah" and the song "Mojo Pin" are beautiful and quite moving. I cannot wait to hear "I know it's Over", which is also my favorite Smiths song. If anyone could cover that song, it was certainly Jeff Buckley.

I currently attend NYU, and I am working towards a Masters in Music Business. My "Law in the Music Industry" professor last semester, George Stein, was Jeff Buckley's manager. Aren't you excited?

Not a big fan, but he was undeniably gifted and had an amazing voice. Most impressive though, were his looks.. he had the looks to match the talent; physical perfection!

how sad is that to loose such a talented and beautiful person. I was a fan and was devastated to hear of his death on my birthday.
