Very interesting. I have been a huge Fugazi fan for years, I had no idea they were big on Morrissey. I would be thrilled if Morrissey put as much emphasis on his fans as Fugazi are famous for. Not meant to be a "knock", it's just that I left a couple of Morrissey shows feeling like he could have given more (Longer sets, less expensive merchandising). Fugazi? Unreal.

Yes, I agree with the previous post. Morrissey should have a longer set at his shows. Fugazi does top Morrissey in this respect- by about an hour and a half.

That is very cool. I love Fugazi and I can't wait to buy the movie soon. If there are Moz fans out there who haven't given Fugazi a listen yet, do it now. They are emotive, intelligent and provide simply one of the best concert experiences ever.

I too live in the DC area and have seen the members of Fugazi @ the last few Morrissey shows. I saw Guy during the "Your Arsenal" tour at Moz's show in Columbia, MD and during his last tour for "Malajusted" I saw bassist Joe Lally. Fans of great music, what can you say?

MORRISSEY DOES NOT NEED LONGER SETS, HE'S MORRISSEY, FUGAZI NEEDS THEM BECAUSE, WELL THEY ARE FUGAZI.

Brilliantly expressed Rockinkid. Now go back to sleep and let the adults talk.
Both bands put on a great show. Fugazi are all about performance and "not letting the kids get ripped off". Morrissey is about self-expression, and I don't think his need to sastify others plays any part in his live shows. You pay your money, you take your chances.
