Not too surprising since he's had a top ten album each since Quarry in Germany. #30 in Sweden was a shock after consecutive #1s previously.

i just read it but i write a bunch of long crap anyway myself so ive no room to judge. i think one was compared to one of those hide a pic pieces lol. i dont really know anything about sweden but the one swedish guy i used to talk to was really obfuscated in his meaning and difficult to get my head around. oh well it was for sure pretty as anything to look at, sweden and the train ride to venice was like a made up disney post card. very beautiful

The fact of the matter is that swedes no longer wanna be liked by people outside of Sweden if that was ever the case. The myth about swedes were mostly created in accompany with the american made porn films that were labelled "swedish" but did not feature any swedes at all. The swedes have changed a lot in recent years and most of all the men. The number of men with shaved heads have soared in the last 10 years and foreigners who used to say swedes looked handsome will now see swedish men looking like members of Hells Angels and the russian mob syndicate who are very present in Sweden.

People are beginning to question the number of laws here and are often choosing to deal with things themselves rather than turn to the police and authorities. I would not be surprised if Sweden have a large scale militia ready when the day comes as the numbers of stolen military weapons are quite frightening and no one knows where they are. Media will mention these things at times but never in a large scale only in some small article.

This summer a popular summer tv show has been heavily criticised and people are boycotting it writing loads about it on social media. The female programme leader who took over this summer has been blamed for the show losing its former glory and when the transgender Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst was announced as a guest next week during Stockholm Pride hateful Twitter comments were flooding in. In the past that would have been something people would have kept to themselves but this time people commented using their own name and picture as if to say that they are not afraid to stand up for what they believe.

Swedes never were what people abroad thought they were and maybe what upsets people from outside of Sweden is that what was modelled as a perfect country with a perfect social system was just a fantasy drawn up by people who rather choose to admire things than question it. Even someone like Putin is quietly admired by many people and comments online suggests that many swedes would prefer an invasion and him as leader instead of keeping a so called democracy that stopped working many years ago.

If people are starting to say what they believe democratic parties will need to reflect that or be thrown out of office. That is democracy in practice, which sounds like a rather good thing.

The myth of the Scandinavian liberal paradise is still strong here. Is Stockholm still the heroin capital of Europe? I know it had been competing back and forth with Oslo for a while.

Before diving too deep into Swedish socio-cultural patterns ... and suggesting them to be the reason to Moz sales records of WPINOB:

You have killed me and Paris was played very frequently on the Swedish radio.

As for the songs on WPINOB - Zero airplay on Swedish radio (!). Nada! Nothing! None of the songs have been played even once.
This is first and foremost the main reason.

Who to blame for that - Morrissey, Harvest, a new generation of music journalists who cannot relate to Morrissey? Dont know. But I sure know that loads of rubbish is played over and over again.

the revieuw in OOR was OK, .. .'dont expect any highlights' what's absoultely not true IMHO
they cheared the sound, extra instruments, and gave Gustavo credit for that.

also in the begining they wrote 'the legend',which I found great, than they turned into Morrissey being not
well, sick, rereleases, and his book, before writing aboutthe album, which was unexpected, due circumstances I've just written

'shame of the family name'
