"Billboard is reporting that Jim Fairchild, of the now defunct band Grandaddy, will once again be joining Modest Mouse. He will apparently be temporarily replacing Johnny Marr, who is currently playing with The Cribs. Marr still remains a full time member of Modest Mouse."
I plan on seeing Modest Mouse this month, even though Johnny won't be with them. They'll be playing at the newly renovated Fox Theater in downtown Oakland.

I just got tickets for Travis at the TLA in philly. The last time I saw them was at the Tower which is a much larger venue and seated. The best thing is if you buy a four pack off of live nation it was only $100 total which is pretty decent.
I guess the key to saving money on LN is to buy in bulk.

and seriously... when do the Billy Joel / Elton John tickets go on sale for the Garden? I am not buying the platinum package.
Dave Matthews also hits MSG in April. Last time I had comped seats. I held off buying them this time as I may be able to go for free again.
