Nice...I like Vega and O'riordan too. Good choices. I like The Cranberries but I always felt like she was trying to make them another Smiths. Maybe their styles were just the same. Nonetheless, I liked her style. Be well,

There is something about that Irish feel in it that I quite like.
The way she sings, pronouncing the words.
And, I thought those albums were very well produced regarding sound quality.
Don't know if they were live as good?
Cheers

No particular order:
-Kate Bush
-Elizabeth Fraser
-Caroline Crawley (R.I.P.)
-Nina Hagen (early works)
-Rose McDowall (even though she can't really sing)
-Nico
-Claudia Brücken (in Propaganda)
-Lorita Grahame (Colourbox)

-Lydia Lunch (in Teenage Jesus & the Jerks. I really like her snottiness)

Honorable mention: Amy Linton (Henry's Dress/The Aislers Set). Something about her weirdly boyish voice is very endearing to me. I suppose it reminds me of a certain musician I knew when they (we) were younger. Strangely calming.
