The "new" Maladjusted

I had never loved Maladjusted...before the re-styling. When I listen to the reissue, the way it's been done, well I could even consider Maladjusted one of his best works now, from the beginning to the end. I think you must be in the right mood to appreciate it. What do you think?

Southpaw Grammar, yes.

Sounds the same as it did in '97. New sleeve and a slightly different track order hasn't changed my opinion as I still love it :)

I think the lack of Roy's Keen is disgraceful quite frankly

I've always loved it and never quite understood why there was such a negative response to it. Wide to Receive has to be one of the most beautifully-sung of all Morrissey songs. I remember when I first heard the album, being so relieved that the warmth and closeness was back after Southpaw (a cold, distant record in my opinion).

What's an anorak?

The word "parka", derived from the Nenet language, first entered the English written record was in a 1625 work by Samual Purchas.
"Anorak" did not appear in English until 1924; an early definition is "gay beaded item worn by Greenland women or brides in the 1930s".
In the early 1950s it was made from Nylon, but changed to poplin by 1959, when it featured in Vogue magazine as a fashion item.
In 1984, the Observer newspaper used the term to refer to the type of people who wore it, and "an anorak" became a derogatory term for trainspotters or nerds.

I've always loved the original album, I think it was over-slammed by the fans the media for whatever reason. However, I think its sad the re-mastered edition had to be butchered by removing songs, its retarded. I hope Universal re-releases a re-mastered edition of the original version one day, :)

Does anyone know if any promo posters were produced or if there is a vinal version planned? I really want a the artwork to hang on my wall!!!!!
