The Cure - 4:13 Dream (SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE October 21, 2008)

That's exactly what I'm hoping for, too. :D
:D
I have to say that I missed them a lot! I hope that they'll come to Greece, like DM is going to! If they do, then my happiness will be completed! :D:D:D:D
Disintegration rocks! Or maybe Bloodflowers... I love all of their albums, but the dark ones are so special to me :)

The studio version of the album just leaked.

Ive not heard these songs yet.

Btw .... which song is about blowJob?

I don't have terribly high hopes for this album, based on the 4 singles. Sure, hearing Bob sing about getting an awesome blowjob is mildly entertaining, but none of the singles really grabbed me. But who knows? Maybe, like almost every Cure album, the last song ("Baby Rag Dog Book"?) will be the best, and will redeem everything.

THE CURE ARE BACK!!!!!!

after 16 years it suddenly works! the magic is back!

I'd agree that the new album's something of a return to form (bearing in mind that it's generally the more 'poppy' Cure of 'The Head on the Door' rather than the grimmer Cure of 'Pornography', 'Faith', etc.), but I wouldn't say they've been entirely devoid of 'magic' for 16 years. 'Bloodflowers' was one of their best albums (in my opinion, anyway), although 'Wild Mood Swings' was, franky, appalling, and put me off them for years. 'The Cure' was better, though a bit overrated, I thought.

WTF? Good lord, Robert is so crazy! :D But I loveee him anyway, especially when I see him still wearing his trademark, that red lipstick is killing me!!!:D

im a big curefan, but for me was just that the last 3 albums never got into me like the old stuff, last album i thought was pretty awful, but now i've got that feeling again of listening to wish in 92,it started there for me, and became into the cure for good, ow man it feels so good, even its not as good as the classic albums, im really feel the way of living from when i was 16 again! for me thats the magic!

Me too, there is something very sensual about that red lipstick:eek:

I think there were a few good songs on "Wild Mood Swings," if you consider them outside of the context of "Seventeen Seconds," "Faith," and "Pornography." Then again, the good songs are fairly well balanced out between the awful songs on that album.

I may be the only one, but I like "Freakshow" on the new album... and I think "Underneath the Stars" has a lovely, dreamy, "Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me," feel to it.

I love this album but I'm not crazy about the singles. No problem as there are plenty of songs here to enjoy. The B side of "The only one" NY trip is awesome and so is the B side to "Sleep when I'm dead" "Down Under" I'm not sure if it's about Australia, probably not but I can dream I guess.

Have any of you heard these 2 B sides I'm talking about? The more I listen to "NY trip" the more it reminds me of the tape I used to have of "Standing on a beach" The flip side of that tape had all the B sides of all the singles up to "A night like this" and those songs are my favorite cure songs. I was so happy they were released on the "Join the dots" compilation.

The Only one is a bit plinky plonky (technical term) reminds me of that sickly "Friday I'm in love" drivel.
