Loads of New Order & Joy Division / Manchester-related bands.

(Some speculation on FB as to the validity of this - caveat emptor...)

Now back in the UK (no Boz mention), Lyn posted a throw back:

FWD.

Small note, as others have also noticed - "Swords" seems to have been completely removed from Spotify now.

The album used to be available in all its glory, including the bonus disc Live In Warsaw.
At some point (maybe 2 years ago?) songs started disappearing (seemingly) at random, both from the standard track list and the bonus disc.

Now the entire release has disappeared.

What's this video? Is it new? Worth getting?

This is listed on many, many sites.
After digging:
I found a description:

Never was the pain of adolescence so vividly soundtracked as it was by The Smiths during their brief tenure in the 1980s. So hopelessly romantic and so utterly British, the song writing partnership of Morrissey and Marr was almost too perfect to exist for any length of time, as it entwined poetry and melody with timeless brilliance. The band split up all too soon, having released just four quite breathtaking albums in little over five years; but The Smiths remain as relevant today as they ever did and their unique sound continues to both epitomise and define 'indie' music. This new documentary is a feature length film which reviews the entire career of The Smiths. Beginning with their formation in Manchester in the early 80s, and taking flight through their four pivotal albums, their numerous, legendary singles, the live performances and the controversial behaviour, culminating in their abrupt demise, this program covers the full story of the finest British act of the past thirty years. Featuring archival band footage and exclusive interviews, plus commentary and review from an esteemed panel, including "fifth member" Craig Gannon, the late Tony Wilson, producers Stephen Street, John Porter and Kenny Jones, acclaimed journalist Paul Morley, and many others, the film explores the entire Smiths saga in a manner previously un-attempted.

Seemed awfully familiar.
Both 88 minutes long...
So to answer your question:
It appears to be a repackaged "The Smiths - Under Review".
If you own that or have seen it, then you probably won't need this.

FWD.

Yes it certainly isn't a new documentary if Tony Wilson is in it!

Yes, saw this. It’s also gone from Apple Music too. I noticed last year that certain songs had begun disappearing, without much of a correlation between each. It’s a shame, as, while I definitely don’t love it all the way through, some great songs have now disappeared.

🤔
This surfaces again, but possibly worth a view.
Is it real or not?
FWD.

Probably fake, a sly way to get Gannon’s certification of ‘authenticity’ though. Should get a good price for it now.

As I understand it, it's not for sale. It was posted by Gannon 6 years ago and the picture resurfaces every few years.

It might be true that Gannon received it… but who wrote it

This is a gem:

I believe some of us rubbed shoulders in '88 & '89?
