smiths article in the upcoming NME?

There’ll be a Smiths special in a couple of weeks time, and the offices are in a semi-meltdown state. As the lowest of the low, I was surprised when we were given something that wasn’t photocopying to do. But for a good hour I trawled the internet for the most obscure Smiths facts I could find, and came up with a couple of crackers. Saying that, we actually had to find 50, and with notoriously MENTILE fans the Smiths aren’t a band it’s easy to find out things diehards won’t know about.

letting the intern searching "rare" facts out at the internet...i wont be buying it as english music mags are terribly overpriced here
and plus i have to pay money for the subway for travel to one of the few newagents in this city with english mags
- but I dont seem to be missing that terribly much..

Further proof that today's NME is nothing more than a content mill. The "journalists" there are simply gathering up text to stick between banner ads and video, whether the text starts off on printed paper or not.
