Salford marks 30 years since Smiths released The Queen Is Dead -The Guardian

Salford marks 30 years since Smiths released The Queen Is Dead - The Guardian

Lowry exhibition to pay tribute to band’s third studio album with sound-scape.

Features Stephen Wright pics and a sound-scape installation by Oberman Knocks.

Morrissey and Johnny Marr have given their approval to a project that will see “real” Smiths reflect on life in Salford, soundtracked by the band’s music.
