He also plays the Palladium Cologne on the 9th March and the Salle Pleyel in Paris on 11th March.

SJM Concerts will promote the dates. Ticket links and more show info can be found at www.gigsandtours.com, www.ticketmaster.co.uk or www.axs.com/uk.

Tickets to the shows will go on-sale to the public on Friday January 24th at 9am. An exclusive pre-sale will take place starting on Tuesday, January 21st at 9am for those fans who have pre-ordered the ‘I Am Not A Dog On A Chain’ album in advance through Townsend Music.

These new tour dates follow the critically acclaimed performances of Morrissey’s recent U.S. Tour in Autumn of 2019 with special guests Interpol. The 30 date tour drew large crowds and received rave reviews across the country.

This new limited run of shows, set to kick off the launch of the ‘I Am Not A Dog On A Chain’ album, promise to be not-to-be missed affairs if reaction to Morrissey’s 2019 U.S. dates is any indication. Press who covered the U.S. Autumn tour raved about the powerful performances as some of Morrissey’s best ever, while continually commenting on the strength of his “ageless” vocals.

Not as happy as you would be dreaming of running #NewBrandTeamStevey promotions :brows:
Ooooohhhhhhh he could be bigger than Elvis n U2 put together.

Would be? I'm either dreaming of it or I'm not.

And I'd make it bespoke, not bigger.

Is anyone else doing the Eurostar and going from London to Paris for the French gig? My wife and I am it will be like a away day (football reference) for the Morrissey supporters club.

I live in London but if I do go to see him, I'll go to the Paris concert.
The atmosphere at the London one will potentially be awful if it's only half sold out or less.

Morrissey, mate - issue that apology now, a complete retraction of your unambiguous support for a far-right political party. It's probably the only thing that can save your career.

Why would I stop an ad because an obsessive stalker might laugh about it on Morrissey Solo? It's not exactly a problem.

Have two tickets spare for Pleyel's show (PARIS, 11 MARCH), if anyone is interested, please let me know!

Looks like Paris is Sold Out.

When I last looked at it a week ago, there were about 75 seats left, so it could easily be sold out by now. Good to hear that at least one venue is selling well.
Going to Cologne myself. Any idea how that one is doing sales-wise?

That's impossible to say since the Palladium isn't seated.

Palladium, Cologne, capacity of 4.000.
So far (Mo. 02/24) 3.400 tickets sold.

Coronavirus outbreak in Italy - if this thing spreads through Europe during the next week expect the whole thing to be cancelled.

Which would actually be a prudent thing to at least be considering, wouldn't it, given how quickly this seems to be spreading?

I suspect venue organisers, & artists, are seriously discussing the possibility of at least postponing (note comment on here yesterday re; New Order concert postponements in Japan).

Also, as the risk increases, many possible attendees will no doubt be wondering if it'd be safe to attend any event such as a concert, or any other mass gathering of people.

Outside of Europe, I noticed this morning that Saudi Arabia (Mecca) is stopping foreign pilgrims entering the country.

It's serious stuff.
