What's the picture on the t-shirt from?

"A boy giving a raised fist salute as he and a friend sat on a statue in front of the New Haven County Courthouse during the trial of Bobby Seale and Ericka Huggins."

Photographer = Stephen Shames.

Looks like a potentially salable (?), new shirt with a Moz quote placed over the cropped image.

FWD.

Thanks! He should sell it on t-shirts & totes. It's a great image & a useful quote for a quick defense of him.

Also, The Black Panthers, still extreme & controversial. He's never going to pick something safe, like the Battersea Cats & Dogs home.

Would make a great inner sleeve photo, wonder if it will be a shirt for sale.

Wish he would throw in a ankh or two.

It looks like he's turned back to the church. People tend to do that when everyone else is giving them a hard time. It's almost impossible to get kicked out of Catholicism.
Even if you sing gay sex songs dressed as a priest... in public.

Which would be odd considering the Catholic church's ongoing antipathy towards homosexuality, or 'sodomy' as they like to refer to it. Unless of course the victim is a young boy. Suddenly Kevin Spacey is springing to mind... ah now it all makes sense.

He may believe in HIS IDEA of a ‘Christ’ figure, but I can’t imagine Morrissey believing in any church.

His church will always be the stage and the song.

True-ish. But it's not really about active belief. That's a very Protestant concept. The church is just there, like your family & your house. And it's second nature to light a candle or say a prayer.
