'Nation Of Shopkeepers' is quite near to the venue, quite a cool indie establishment. (Used to be called the courtyard)
The Fab Cafe is just a 3/4 min walk from the venue after, it's a bit predictable but decent enough.
Otherwise it's the bars, Mojo's etc

There's a Walkabout nextdoor to the O2 Acedemy. I'm sure if enough fans get there before/after, they could be persuaded to play some Moz/Smiths classics.
