The World's Forgotten Boy
....terrible and broad....

what does this mean? broad?

Oh, and I've never watched it. Tried a couple of times but it's like Father Ted without the jokes, or the inteligence, or any of the other good reasons for watching.

Thanks. Never heard the word used like that here in Canada.

Ah, perhaps it's more a British/Irish thing? I'll look it up!:D

Edit: Can't find the origin on Google!:(

Cant think of a show that has more ladies in suspenders...

...But for artistic reasons, you shouldn't watch...:p

How can it be wrong to enjoy it? It's totally everything we worship in UK comedy - mild racism, toilet humour and transvestism. That said, I tried watching it the other day (you can't miss it, they still repeat that shit twenty years later on a main channel) and it was dire. So you can't win. I like the guy though, the police inspector who turns everything into a ridiculous double entendre.:)

Can't decide whether it's that shit it's good, or just plain shite. I won't tire of the copper saying 'good moaning' though

Keeping up appearances is the one however :guitar:
