I Misses You - Is this for real?

The Truth Is Out There
In 1984, The Smiths recorded an instrumental demo of a song called "I Misses You". I just stumbled across something that appears to be the track in question, but I have no idea if it's real or fake:

Can anyone confirm or deny the authenticity of this track?

Im getting file unavailiable at the moment. Where did you come across this? It would be great if it really was "I Misses You", but its probably too good to be true. But then again I don't know alot about the track so can't really say.:)

I've downloaded the track and just listened to it. It is infact an untitled instrumental sometimes circulated as untitled instrumental #2. It is from the miraval sessions I think, which was around 1995 I think.

I just checked, and you are right. It's the same thing.

That was also my first thought, that it sounds much more like Morrissey solo than The Smiths.

The second Smiths instrumental I was going to upload is indeed the instrumental song 01 from the Miravel sessions. So much for discovering a treasure ...
