Henry Rollins makes me sick

Were all of your Morrissey tattoos visible?
Maybe you didn't have to say much for him to decide that he'd heard enough; so he turned around and walked away. Nothing nasty about that.
How long did you expect him to engage you in conversation?

Besides, he's hot. :horny:

As usual, all of your assumptions are false.

He's a complete un-known in Britain, that's probably why.
Maybe if he starts pulling in mass audiences here then he'll stop with the taunting..... and then I'll move to the USA :D

Oh, not to worry; he's a has-been now. :)

Oh, not to worry; he's a has-been now. :)

For me he's a never-was :p

I'm still wondering if I should amble round Urbis tomorrow, even though I'm 99% certain the kid's story about the Moz interview is bullshit. Sadly I have nothing better to do on Valentine's Day :(

Can't you just discuss this face to face ?

He's not with me 24 hours a day. Sorry, did we offend you by TALKING on a FORUM?

What is it with all of you who think that two Morrissey fans who are married shouldn't be able to speak to each other on the forum they frequent? What is that all about?! It makes no sense at all to me.

Oh, not to worry; he's a has-been now. :)

Hardly.

Funny enough, I met him in the hospital I worked at a few years ago (he was doing a USO visit for the war wounded). I recognized him and we had a very nice chat, he asked about my family and I was pretty impressed by how nice he was compared to his public persona. I think HR is a good guy, I may not agree with his views on things, but he was very cool on that day.

Hardly.

You know what?... There is something very wrong with you people. Very very wrong. I've never in my life encountered a forum filled with such argumentative people. Have you ever stood back and asked yourselves WHY you're so ready to argue? About NOTHING?! If I wanted to argue as much as you guys seem to I would be very concerned about my mental and emotional health. Another thread (MY OWN!) I'm going to have to put on ignore, I suppose.

I also hate this f***ing annoying idea the americans have about us brits all having bad teeth. what an intolerant c*** rollins is, i also have NO CLUE who he is, was he in a band or something? He just comes across in everything ive seen as an opinionated horrible person.

2187th 'HR makes me sick' thread

I was wondering Jamie Oliver fans are bitching about Morrissey in his forum.

We don't all think that, matt.

That's not why I hate him. I hate him for torturing animals. Also, he was very rude to me personally. When I met him I shook his hand and smiled, so I didn't start off having unkind feelings towards him. (This is before I knew about the animal cruelty.) I told him that I spent my childhood in a neighborhood right near his, thinking we could talk about local places... Basically just trying to make small talk like everyone else was doing with him. He told me I was lying and then quizzed me on the old neighborhood. When I answered him he just stared at me for a moment and then turned his back on me without another word. I still have no idea why he did that or why he thought I was lying. (I wasn't.) The gist is that he's just a nasty S.O.B.

I didn't seek this video out. I stumbled upon it by accident.

And you are wrong. I have lots of friends that dislike Morrissey. It IS sooooo typical of me to dislike someone for being a rude, nasty jerk though.

Maybe if you got a "Rollins" tattoo or lyric quote, he might be nicer next time.:)

Hardly.

He's very popular here and always sells out venues, has-been or no.

Lots of artists could be described as "has-beens".

Difference of opinion, little miss angry, that's all.
Arguments are healthy, your desire to "renew the hatred" isn't.

At least he has tour dates. :lbf:
If he has scheduled dates in that many places, obviously he is still attracting a crowd. Chances are, they aren't even the same people following him from town to town.

Ummmm......YOU started a thread about Henry Rollins making you sick.
Twice in your first post you used the word "hate." Then you said the reason you started the thread was to renew the hatred.

Show us some evidence of mental and emotional health on your end.

Yeah, I'M the angry one. No matter what I say and no matter how I say it SOMEONE attacks me here, but I'm the angry one. I find your perception questionable.

Arguments are healthy? Really? With the name calling and the belittling and the nasty assumptions about people? Really? You're confused. When people say that arguments are healthy, what they mean is that disagreements and discussion are healthy. It doesn't mean that the ugliness that goes on on Solo is healthy. If you think it is, then you don't know what "healthy" means.

"Renew the hatred" was just colorful speech. I know that you don't really get from that that I'm sitting around hating Henry Rollins on a daily basis. You know it too.
