So upsetting when Midge meets his demise. :tears:

NOoooooooooooooooo...... don't post video of it!!!

Holding back the tears over here in the Nightingale household:tears::tears::tears:

The chop ain't there. I can't believe that was in a kid's film.
Never mind Kick Ass with "c***" , this was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
worse.

*shocked* - you used the 'C' word!!
Have a look at ANY disney film and i'll show you a horror that should never befall the eyes of a child.....
Bambi (mum is brutally slaughtered seconds into the film),
The Lion King (OMG - they even kill off Cats- daddy is murdered),
101 Dalmations (FFS), Snow White etc, etc, etc....
I'm surprised Disney didn't make Watership Down, Kes or The Yearling since those films follow it's pattern of murder and despair!

Can't face otter stories - makes me think of 'ring of bright water' and that just makes me want to cry:tears::tears:

*sigh*

I know what you mean, but this is a happy story (really). Even when animal stories are happy, though, they somehow manage to turn out sad.

I know better than to watch movies or read books about animals; it usually ends up with me in tears.
