Are you a fan of Eddie Izzard's comedic work?

I already saw him in December at the Lyrics in London. It was a good show. He had a very clever joke about the origin of language. I am not going to spoil it but it was very funny.

Anyone going to any of these arena dates?

If so, would you mind posting how it was? Thanks.

To answer the thread title, yes, I am a fan of his comedy but not his acting. Goodness, I just cannot take him seriously as an actor at all.

Like your avator...that video is ace!

Of course not intentionally comedic....have you seen the film? It's amazing!!

Oh cheers!

I haven't seen it... I am a bit scared of Tom Cruise and thought I'd give it a miss. His (Eddie's) acting never quite hits the target, does it?

I read an interview with him before "The Riches" (tv) came out, and he was talking about how desperate he was to be a recognized famous actor in the US. I thought that was a bit of a shame.

The film was daft to be honest, how can you have a film where all the nazis have American or British accents? Didn't work for me at all.

Izzard is FANTASTIC. "Dress to Kill" is perfection.
