The Telegraph: "No record label will touch Morrissey – and that’s the music industry’s loss" (June 4, 2021)

Even if Morrissey is considered 'right wing' which I for one would dispute, it's then bizarre to think (ala skinny et al) that he would have no appeal in a country that has clearly, by any measure, swung strongly to the right.

"Vauxhall & I" exclusive blue vinyl included in HMV’s Vinyl Week (in stores Aug. 15, 2020)

Gotta love coloured vinyl. Takes you back, was so exciting going round record shops back in the day pre Internet and getting your hands on something special. Think my first was ramones don't come close 12" in red. Loved that and still have it. Love vauxhall so it's a no brainer really.

Mporium UK: a selection of new items available (July 31, 2020)

Mporium has some odd good things at times, but always feel with the scope of imagery around the smiths and Morrissey most designs lack much creativity. There are many unofficial producers who create much more creative designs. Personally prefer things that are a bit more nuanced, and don't...

Smiths Torrents 2006-2020: "Goodnight & Thank You" (July 3, 2020)

Those were the days, hunting out tapes at fairs and markets, searching the small ads, bootleggers with massive tape machines and video cameras like bazookas getting sneaked into gigs to record an amazing period in music history. Digital changed the landscape but back in the day even downloading...

Monorail Music refuses to stock Morrissey's new album (January 13, 2020)

I guess they could have just decided not to stock it without the announcement. Mono indeed.

Morrissey Central: "… AND ‘IT’S OVER’ CAME TUMBLING AFTER" (December 20, 2019)

60% is an amusingly specific number. Was that a mori poll? People come and people go, no big deal. Personally love all the etienne releases, look just like Morrissey releases should. And as for hipsters streaming music and not buying vinyls, cmon! That's your choice, but sitting in a room full...

Morrissey Central: "… AND ‘IT’S OVER’ CAME TUMBLING AFTER" (December 20, 2019)

Lovely little release. Delighted to get a copy today. Asked staff at hmv if they had it, they said no, had a wander round and saw two copies in some random place. No idea why they said did not have it. Unusual pricing for a 7 inch though.

    Test press values

Ah thanks for the offer. but really only trying to get an idea on values. I'm getting closer to popping my clogs these days and know my son and grandson will have no idea about record values and probably shift them to a charity shop if I don't leave some information. Btw looking at your...

    Test press values

Hi, just been going through some old records and came across a few white label promos (Edit - not tests) that I don't really have any idea of value. Wondered if anyone able to give estimate on these. Thanks Sheila Take A Bow 12 I Started Something 12 Hand in Glove RT 130 Sandie Shaw 7 What...

    Kettering, OH - Fraze Pavilion (Sep. 11, 2019) post-show

I often wonder if I'm about to tire of all the concert feedback but I never seem to. It's always great to hear from those attending in far off places. A bit of jealousy thrown in of course because I wish I was at some of those great venues. I have no interest really in attendances, I just find...

"¡The Best Of! Morrissey" vinyl released (30 August, 2019)

Beautiful product, amazing tracklist, Moz at the peak of his powers. Would have sprinted to the shop if this was available when the cd came out. Now it's a lazy click or two and wait for the postie, but you gotta have it ain't ya?
