  • Hi, I'm not familiar with Cherry Ghost although the name does ring a bell. That's a lovely song, thanks for the link!
Aye, Uni starts back on the 19th and I can't wait, this summer has dragged painfully. I've got a job interview in the Arndale Centre this week (just a part time thing) so that should help with living costs etc if I do get it. Fingers crossed. One of the girls in my new block is from Ponte like me - small world! x
About Moz? It's upsetting really but it's the only way I can look at it. Thankfully Johnny is still lovely - maybe settling for a 'lesser' sort of fame has other compensations, lets people keep a healthier emotional attitude. Anyway - Viva Smiths :)

Are you doing ok atm? x
    'ello, 'ello, 'ello.

Have you heard that the new Belle & Sebastian album is called, 'Write About Love'?

Also, Pantha du Prince. Dunno' if you've heard of him, but he's really thought-provokingly good! I saw him at the Ruby Lounge (Manc) and he blew me away. He's got an album called, 'Black Noise', and is signed to Rough Trade (Which I'm not sure why it surprises me so much.*shrugs*)

Have you heard anything good lately?

    T'ra!,
    vaca.
Hi Sweets, that IS lovely, thank you! Not seen you around these parts much recently - its dull just now aint it....x
Just got your message about Kit - not sure what it's in relation to, but, I must say, it's a jolly good song.
Sullen shores? Oh it can't be that bad, eh?
Don't get carried away by silly pictures, it doesn't look that idyllic in reality.
    I haven't, but I probably will.
I actually live in Vilnius, so that was a good shot. I'm glad you don't think of Riga, because most people do. Speaking of being uncultured, you know, I don't bear a map of UK in my head all the time either.
oh somebody sent me this link some time ago, I didn't listen too carefully, but I rather enjoyed 'Milk & Honey'. maybe you're right and I should give it a try once more.
a random question: do you like Emma Pollock?
no entertainment for me these days. but I’ve rediscovered Leslie Feist’s ‘The Reminder’ recently. I think it’s pretty.
what about you? heard any good music recently? want to recommend me anything?
it’s raining in Lithuania finally. that’s a delight.
Same as usual. In addition, I've been a bit ill and had to stay indoors for almost two weeks. I've never been so bored and angry.
But tomorow my "normal" life begins. Can't say I'm looking forward to it though.
Be careful with my recommendations, I was told I've got appalling taste a couple of times.
    How are you?
Ohh, Pudsey is a lovely place, lucky you :) did you ever live in Castleford or have I just imagined it?

    xx
