David Bret has asked me to spread the word that his forthcoming Morrissey book Scandal And Passion will be published in the UK by Robson books five weeks earlier than planned on August 23rd 2004. He would also like to thank the fans who have donated photographs for use in the book...

If it is as exciting and revealing as his last Morrissey book, it's bound to be...boring.

  • Dont Buy this book, this man is an evil man who only digs the dirt on Morrissey.David Bret is not a fan. His last rag was utter rubbish, and now Morrissey is back once again, he is trying to cash in, by bringing out a rag full of lies. Any true Morrissey fan will stear well clear of this tripe, Morrissey himself will not be happy about this book and certainly not happy about this evil man trying to make money out of lies and the fact that Moz is back bigger than ever.

    PLEASE DONT BUY IT!!!!!

Spend your money on something else worth buying.

The only Book with the truth will be the one written by Morrissey Himself.

  • I wonder if he mentioned it was a 'warts and all' (that is such a nasty phrase) biography before appealing to fans for their photos?

Gentle and kind... which is unusual in a librarian
  • Enough already!!!
I've been a fan for 16 years and I'm not buying this book! I love reading biographies but most of the Morrissey/Smiths books out there aren't worth buying! I'll love getting my hand on the one penned by the man himself but NOTHING other than that.
I don't think anyone else other than Morrissey has anything to offer the fans other than tabloid style nonsense. And even if they manage to dish up something I don't think it would interest me.

  • David Bret normally writes about dead people.

Maybe someone should kill him, then he can scrape the barrell to write another rag thats boring, This time about himself.

    The mans a weirdo

I am sure Morrissey's lawyers will make quorn mince of him.

You normally see David Bret's books in the bargin bins up and down the country for about 20pence

Real true fans wont buy this book
